Many schemes are run by the central government for the citizens of the country. In which schemes are brought keeping in mind the interests of different people.
Along with this, the governments of different states of the country also run many types of schemes to give separate benefits to the citizens of the state.
Nitish Kumar’s government of Bihar is also taking good care of the interests of the people of Bihar. Many types of schemes have been started by the government for the citizens of the state.
Some of these schemes are for women’s empowerment and girl upliftment. A special scheme is run by the Bihar government for the girls of the state.
The name of this scheme is Bihar Shatabdi Mukhyamantri Balika Poshak Yojana. Girls studying from 9th class to 12th class get the benefit of this scheme.
Under the scheme, Rs 1500 is sent to the account of the parents of the girls. This money is sent under DBT i.e. Direct Benefit Transfer.
To avail of the benefits of the scheme, the girls or their parents will have to contact the concerned school. The further process of the scheme will be completed from there.
