Threads App Will Soon Get Camera Shortcut And Option To Save Drafts
Meta-owned microblogging platform Threads is testing two new features – the ability to save drafts and quick access to the camera from within the app.
This has been confirmed by Meta’s CEO Mark Zuckerberg via Threads. These additions will make sharing moments and conversations on Threads easier for you.
According to a report from 9to5Mac, the next Threads update will soon allow you to save drafts of your posts. This means you can start writing a post, save it and finish and publish it later instead of sharing it immediately. Whether you want to delay sharing a post or keep it for later, this feature lets you do that. Here’s how it will work.
Threads Save Draft Feature
As per Meta, when composing a new post, you can simply swipe down to save it as a draft. The draft gets saved automatically if you click cancel or close the composer too. The report suggests that saved drafts can be accessed from a different composer icon that shows up on the bottom bar of the Threads app when you have unpublished draft posts.
However, it appears that only one draft post can be stored at a time right now. But the feature should still come in handy for you to jot down updates casually without needing to share them immediately.
