TN SSLC 10th Board Exam 2024: TN SSLC 10th Board Exam 2024: Tamil Nadu’s Directorate of Government Examination (DoGE) has commenced the state class 10th or Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC) board exams 2024 today.
The TN state board exam started at 10 AM today and will end at around 1.15 PM. The board exams will continue for 14 days till April 8. Meanwhile, all candidates will get 10 minutes of reading time for the respective question paper and an extra five minutes for verifying particulars on the answer sheet by the candidates.
Notably, a total of 9.38 lakh students are set to appear in the examination, with 9.10 lakh coming from 12,616 schools. It is pertinent to note that 28,827 students will sit for the exam independently, while 235 jail inmates give TN board examinations.
Steps to download TN SSLC 10th Board Exam 2024 Admit Card
The TN Board 10th hall ticket 2024 can be downloaded online on the Directorate of Government Examinations (DGE) website: dge.tn.gov.in.

Go to the official website at dge.tn.gov.in.
1 – Click on ‘SSLC Examination’ on the homepage
2 – Follow the ‘TN Secondary Examination Hall Ticket 2024’ option
3 – Punch the application number and date of birth in the respective fields
4 – Hit ‘Search’ button
5 – The admit card will appear now
Important Instructions for exam
Carrying TN 10th admit card 2024 to the exam hall is mandatory for students. No candidate will be allowed in the examination hall with the admit card.
Exams will start at 9:15 am so students are suggested to reach the exam centre at least 30 minutes before. This will help students to check their seating arrangements and avoid last-minute problems.
Students are further advised to complete the exam 10 minutes before the given time so that students can recheck their answers.
Results date
The results of the class 10 board exams will be announced on May 10, 2024. Further, candidates who successfully qualify in these exams can select an academic stream out of Science, Commerce, and Arts for class 11 and class 12.
