On 10th July, The 30-share BSE Sensex opened 129.72 points higher to hit a fresh all-time high of 80,481.36. However, the index soon tumbled 915.88 points or 1.13 per cent to trade at 79,435.76. It finally closed lower by 426.87 points or 0.53 per cent at 79,924.77.
The NSE Nifty also hit its record 24,461.05 in opening deals but pared all gains to decline 291.4 points or 1.19 per cent to 24,141.80 intra-day. It dropped 108.75 points or 0.45 per cent to settle at 24,324.45.

Tata Elxsi Stock: Company reported its financial results for the June quarter. Its net profit for the April-June period declined 6.5 per cent sequentially to Rs 184.1 crore, according to a regulatory filing.
State Bank of India (SBI) Stock: Lender raised a sum of Rs 10,000 crore on Wednesday at a coupon rate of 7.36 per cent infrastructure bonds.
Power Grid Stock: Power Grid’s board approved a proposal to borrow up to Rs 16,000 crore in FY26 through various sources including domestic bonds.
IRCTC Stock: The company has signed an agreement with DMRC and CRIS for the One India- One Ticket initiative.
Asian Paints Stock: The company has clarified on media news stating that at the portfolio level it has increased rates by around 1 per cent with effect from July 22.
Dividend Stocks: Bharat Seats, Century Textiles & Industries, Route Mobile, Sky Industries and VTM are among the stocks scheduled to trade ex-dividend on Thursday.
Bonus Stocks: Alliance Integrated Metaliks shares are slated to trade ex-bonus on the same day.
Shipping Stocks: GE Shipping, Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders and other shipping stocks will be in focus as according to sources the industry may get a big boost in the upcoming budget with the extension of the Shipbuilding scheme beyond 2026.
Anand Rathi Wealth, NELCO and GTPL Hathaway Stock: These stocks will be in focus as they are set to release their Q1FY25 earnings later today.
TCS Stock: Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) will release the first quarter result for the fiscal year 2024-25.
