GitHub Offering Firms Premium AI Coding Tool
GitHub, owned by Microsoft Corp., is launching a more expensive paid version of its artificial intelligence (AI) software development tool.
This tool can answer questions based on a company’s proprietary programming code, aiming to assist new engineers in ramping up quickly and enabling experienced coders to enhance their efficiency.
GitHub, a platform facilitating collaboration among programmers on coding projects, has been integrating AI into its products and services to attract a larger subscriber base. The newly introduced Copilot Enterprise will be priced at $39 per user per month and will include AI chat features aimed at simplifying issue resolution, programme modernisation, and other tasks for engineers.
India Has More Than 800 Million Internet Users
According to a new report, India boasts over 800 million internet users, with 86 per cent of them utilising over-the-top (OTT) audio and video services as the primary application of the technology in the country.
The Internet in India Report 2023 indicates that over 90 per cent of Indians access the Internet daily, spending an average of around 1.5 hours online. Nevertheless, the report by the Internet and Mobile Association of India (IAMAI) and Kantar suggests that the growth rate of the Internet user base is slowing down.
