Toyota Introduces Mid-spec G Variant for Rumion Automatic, Starting at Rs 13 Lakh

To attract more customers, leading auto giant Toyota has launched a mid-spec trim of Rumion in automatic transmission called G. It has been released with a price tag of Rs 13 lakh (ex-showroom). With the addition of the latest variant, the MPV can now be bought in both manual and automatic transmissions, unlocking choices for customers. Interested customers can now pay Rs. 11,000 can reserve the vehicle by paying a fully refundable token amount. It can be booked either through authorized dealerships or online through the official website. Deliveries will start from May 5, 2024.

The new variant shares the same architecture as the standard version, with LED headlights, paired with LED taillamps at the rear. It features the company’s signature dark grille at the front, which flaunts the chrome finish of the Toyota logo on the front.

Talking about the features, the Rumion G comes with an automatic 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system, which supports wireless car connect technology including Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. When it comes to safety, the company has included dual airbags at the front, making it equipped with EBD, ESP, hill hold control, seat belt reminder, ISOFIX child seat and speed alert. Highlight features include engine start/stop switch, automatic temperature control, front fog lights and Toyota i-Connect connected car tech.

Engine and Power
Under the hood, the vehicle is powered by a 1.5-litre K-series petrol engine. The unit generates a maximum power of 102 Bhp at 6,000 rpm and 137 Nm at 4,400 rpm. The power source is mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission.
