Truecaller Introduces AI-Powered Call Recording, Transcription, Summarisation Features In India, Supports Hindi And English On Android, iOS
Truecaller Call Recording Feature: Popular contact verification platform Truecaller has launched its AI-based call recording feature in India across Android and iOS platforms.
The new functionality will allow users to record calls (both incoming and outgoing calls) from the Truecaller app to efficiently capture and manage important calls. It will be a paid offering bundled with the Truecaller Premium subscription.
According to Truecaller, the “advanced cloud-based recording” feature will offer refined voice clarity for recording and transcribing calls. The feature will be supported in English and Hindi language. Earlier, the feature debuted for users in the US. Truecaller noted that additional languages will be added soon.
This will let users skip the burden of taking notes during calls. Along with detailed transcriptions, it will also have the option of an AI-generated call summary. According to Rishit Jhunjhunwala, MD of Truecaller India and Chief Product Officer of the company, the AI call recording option has been among the highly requested features by the 266 million active users in the country.
