UP Board Exam 2024 Concludes; Cheating Incidents Hit Record Low, Evaluation Process To Begin Soon

UP Board Exam 2024: The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) has concluded the UP Board Class 10 and 12 exams for 2024 on March 9. According to the press release by board secretary Dibyakant Shukla, 48 students were caught cheating this year, a decrease from 127 caught last year.

The UP Board exam was held from February 22 to March 9, 2024.

To ensure continuous online monitoring of examination centers, more than 2.90 lakh CCTV cameras equipped with voice recorders have been installed in 1.35 lakh examination rooms and premises across all 8,265 examination centers. The number of pseudo candidates caught attempting exams on behalf of others has also decreased to 37 from 133 recorded last year.

According to the press release, “24×7 online monitoring of all examination centers and their strong rooms was conducted by 180 employees working in three shifts, utilising 60 computers at the Command and Control Center of the Council Headquarters.”

Evaluation Process To Begin Soon

The UP board exam has been concluded and now the evaluation of answer sheets will begin soon. The UP board results will be announced after the scrutiny of answer sheets. The UP board results are expected to be announced in May. However, the official date and time is yet to be confirmed by the board.

According to the data, for evaluating 1.75 crore answer sheets of UP Class 10, a total of 94,808 teachers have been appointed. Similarly, for evaluating 1.25 crore UP Board Class 12 answer sheets, a total of 52,295 teachers have been appointed. Overall, for evaluating a total of 3.01 crore answer sheets, 1,47,097 teachers will be appointed.
