UP Stenographer Recruitment 2024: Notification issued for recruitment to Stenographer posts in UP, applications will start from this date..
Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC) has issued a notification for Stenographer Recruitment. According to the notification, the application process for this recruitment will start on 26 December 2024 and will continue till 25 January 2025. All the candidates who are preparing for Stenographer Recruitment will be able to fill out the application form on the official website of UPSSSC upsssc.gov.in online mode within the stipulated dates. Before filling out the form, the candidates must check the eligibility and criteria.
Qualification for Stenographer Posts
To join UP Stenographer Vacancy 2024, the candidates must have a valid score card from UPSSSC PET 2023. Apart from this, the candidate must have passed 10+2 (Intermediate) from a recognized board/institute. The candidate should have a typing speed of 25 words per minute (Hindi) and steno speed of 80 words per minute. The candidate should have CCC certificate or its equivalent qualification.
Age limit
To participate in this recruitment, the minimum age of the candidates should not be less than 18 years and the maximum age should not be more than 40 years. Candidates coming from reserved categories will be given relaxation in upper age as per rules.
How will the selection be done?
To be selected for the post of Stenographer, candidates will have to go through a written examination. The date for the written examination will be announced later. In the written examination, candidates will be asked 100 objective-type and 100 multiple-choice questions. Candidates will be given 2 hours to solve the question paper. 1 mark is fixed for each question. Keep in mind that there is also a provision of minus marking in this exam. In such a situation, a 1/4 mark will be deducted for every wrong answer.
Syllabus
This exam will have 30 questions on Hindi Knowledge and Writing Ability, 15 questions on the General Intelligence Test, 20 questions on General Awareness, 15 questions on Computer and Information Technology Concepts and Knowledge of Contemporary Technology Development and Innovation in this field, and 20 questions from General Awareness related to Uttar Pradesh State.
