UPSC CSE Mains 2024 DAF-1 to Close Today; Here’s Direct Link to Apply
UPSC CSE Mains Exam: The Union Public Service Commission(UPSC) will close the detailed application form (DAF-I) for the Civil Services (Main) Examination, 2024 today, July 12, 2024. The UPSC CSE DAF-I application form 2024 will close at 6:00 PM. Candidates can submit the DAF application form at
“All the candidates, who have qualified for Civil Services (Main) Examination, 2024 are required to login through One Time Registration (OTR) on the Commission website to fill their Detailed Application Form I. After login
through OTR, they are required to complete the requisite details/entries in the DAF-I, upload the copies of all the relevant documents and finally submit the same latest by 6.00 pm on 12.07.2024,” UPSC in an official notice said.
The candidature of those candidates, who fail to finally submit their DAF-I, complete in all respect, by 6.00 pm on 12.07.2024, will be cancelled and they will not be allowed to appear in the Civil Services (Main) Examination, 2024,” the Commission in an official statement added.

Visit the official website of the Union Public Service Commission(UPSC) at upsc.gov.in and
Look for the link, “DAF FOR VARIOUS EXAMINATIONS OF UPSC.” Click on it and you will be redirected to a new webpage. Click on the DAF link.
Login into your account.
Enter your details such as email ID, OTP/Password, and verification code.
Fill up the application form.
Pay the fee, if any.
Submit and download a copy of it for future reference.
UPSC CSE Exam Pattern
The Civil Services Examination will consist of two successive stages
(i) Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination (Objective type) for the selection of candidates for the Main Examination; and
(ii) Civil Services (Main) Examination (Written and Interview) for the selection of candidates for the various Services and posts noted in the detailed notice.
The candidates who are declared to have qualified Civil Services (Main) Examination will be required to mandatorily indicate order of preferences only for those services participating in the Civil Services Examination for the year, for which he is interested to be allocated to, in the on-line Detailed Application Form-II [DAF-II], before the commencement of Personality Tests (Interview) of the examination
