Trump warned President Xi of China about the potential consequences of building car manufacturing plants in Mexico and emphasized his intent to impose tariffs on cars imported into the US. Additionally, Trump hinted at the possibility of another election immediately after the 2024 polls if he did not win the current election, suggesting potential implications for the future of electoral processes in the country.
Trump’s Provocative Remarks Stir Controversy
Trump campaign spokeswoman Karoline Leavitt informed NBC News that Trump’s provocative remarks were in reference to the conduct of the Biden administration, asserting, “Biden’s policies will create an economic bloodbath for the auto industry and auto workers.”
Concerns over the matter were voiced by James Singer, a spokesman for President Joe Biden’s campaign, who stated, “This is who Donald Trump is: a loser who gets beat by over 7 million votes and then instead of appealing to a wider mainstream audience doubles down on his threats of political violence.”
He added, “He wants another January 6, but another electoral defeat this November is what the American people are going to give him because they continue to reject his extremism, his affection for violence, and his thirst for revenge.”

Trump’s slander did not cease there. Before his address, the “J6 choir” of inmates, awaiting trials for their roles in the devastating Capitol riots, were saluted by the former US President. He referred to the insurrectionists as “hostages,” stating, “They’ve been treated terribly and very unfairly and you know that and everybody knows that.”
He added, “And we’re going to be working on that as soon as the first day we get into office, we’re going to save our country, and we’re going to work with the people to treat those unbelievable patriots.” Trump even stated that some of the undocumented immigrants were “not people,” raising many eyebrows in democratic circles.
