Vikas Sethi’s Wife Jhanvi Reveals He Refused Hospitalisation After Vomiting, Recalls His Final Moments
Vikas Sethi a beloved actor known for roles appearing on Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, Kahiin To Hoga, Sasural Simar Ka, and Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham passed away on September 8. He was 48 years old and died due to a heart attack while he was sleeping. A news report by Hindustan Times reported that Vikas’s wife, Jhanvi Sethi recalled that they were attending a family gathering in Nashik when the incident took place. Despite Vikas suffering from symptoms like vomiting and diarrhea, he decided not to seek immediate medical help.
Vikas Sethi’s Wife Recalls His Final Moments
In conversation with PTI, Jhanvi said, “After we reached my mother’s house in Nashik, he had vomiting and loose motions. He didn’t want to go to the hospital so we asked the doctor to come home. When I went to wake him up at around 6 am in the morning (on Sunday), he was no more. The doctor there told us he passed away last night (on Saturday) in his sleep due to cardiac arrest (sic).”
Jhanvi also posted a heart-breaking post about Vikas Sethi’s death. Her post read, “With immense sorrow, we inform you about the passing of our beloved Vikas Sethi, who left us all on the 8th of September 2024. The final rites will be carried according to Hindu traditions on 9th September. Your presence, prayers, and support, in this trying time would be deeply appreciated. Regards, Sethi family (sic).”

His body has been moved to Cooper Hospital in Mumbai for further examination. The funeral will be held in Mumbai on Monday. He is survived by his partner and twin sons.
