Mumbai: From Sunil Gavaskar to Sachin Tendulkar to Virat Kohli, Indian cricket has been blessed over the generations to have produced some of the greatest to have played the game. While it is impossible to compare and pick between the three legends, avid cricket follower and External Affairs Minister Dr. S Jaishankar was put in a spot when he was asked to pick between the three. Jaishankar, who has been lucky enough to see all the three generations, picked Kohli over the other two legends and also gave his reason.
Jaishankar, on an YouTube channel of Sushant Sinha, revealed that he picked Kohli over the other two because of his fitness and attitude.

Meanwhile, Kohli has been in ominous touch during the recently-concluded IPL. The former RCB captain won the Orange Cap after amassing 741 runs at a strike rate of 154.70 and average of 61.75 with five centuries and one century. He hit 38 sixes, which is the joint with 2016 for the most he has hit in a single season.
Kohli is yet to join his teammates in New York and was spotted in Mumbai on Tuesday post dinner. Kohli’s delay in reaching New York is reportedly due to pending paperwork. In a video that went viral on social media, Kohli was spotted with wife and Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma along with former India fast bowler Zaheer Khan and his wife Sagarika Ghatge.
While the exact date of Kohli’s departure for New York is yet to be known, but it is understood that he will be flying out of the country by Thursday. That means, in all likelihood, Kohli will be missing the warm-up game against Bangladesh on June 1 at the Nassau County International Cricket Stadium.
