Volkswagen Unveils Taigun GT Line and GT Plus Sport: A Detailed Look with Photos

Volkswagen has launched the new black-themed Taigun GT with black design details on the exterior and interior. This new variant was showcased at their brand press conference a while ago and now the prices have been revealed. Here, the Taigun GT Line and GT Plus ditch the sport chrome and go for an all-black look which means you get new 17-inch black alloys, black LED headlamps/black grille, black Taigun lettering on the boot lid, black roof rails. , black ORVM, dark chrome door handles and more.

Inside, the Taigun GT line gets a black headliner and a dark interior. Elsewhere there are black grab handles, black sun visor and more. There is also crystal gray stitching on the steering wheel, armrests, seat covers. Meanwhile, the GT Plus Sport gets red stitching on the steering wheel and red stitching on the front center armrest plus red ambient lighting, aluminum pedals, etc. The difference between the GT Line and the GT Plus Sport is that the GT Line doesn’t get the exterior. Red brake calipers and red GT badging plus a carbon steel colored roof.

The Taigun GT line is now priced at Rs. 1.0l TSI engine with 6-speed manual transmission. 14.08 lakh (ex-showroom) and Rs. 15.63 lakh (ex-showroom) available. . Another new variant is the Taigun GT Plus Sport (1.5l TSI EVO engine), mated to a 6-speed manual transmission at Rs. 18.53 lakh (ex-showroom) and Rs. 19.73 lakhs (ex-showroom) is priced at Rs. 7-speed DSG transmission.

Both the Taigun GT Line and the Taigun GT Plus Sport make up the new ‘Sport’ line which means there are three trims – Chrome, Edge and Sport.
