Watch: Arjun Rampal`s daughters attend `Crakk` premiere to support their father

Actor Arjun Rampal attended the premiere of his film `Crakk-Jeetega toh Jiyegaa` on Thursday night. The film also stars Vidyut Jammwal, Nora Fatehi, and Amy Jackson and is an action-packed ride.

On Thursday, several members of the film fraternity turned up for the film`s premiere. Arjun Rampal had support from his partner Gabriella Demetriades who is also the costume designer of the film and his daughter Mahikaa and Myra Rampal. The two are Arjun`s daughters from his marriage with ex-wife Mehr Jesia.

Arjun Rampal was beaming with joy as he posed with his daughters on the red carpet of `Crakk` premiere. Gabriella also joined the father-daughters for a picture.

To note, Arjun formerly married Mehr Jesia. They have two daughters, Mahikaa Rampal and Myra Rampal. Arjun and Mehr parted ways in 2019. Currently, Arjun is in a live-in relationship with Gabriella Demetriades. The couple have two sons together.

Arjun, by all means, is a family man, and just like any other father-daughter duo, his girls Mahikaa and Myra don’t shy away from opining on his work. He tells mid-day.com, “None of them made the choice for me (laughs).

If they revisit some of my old films, sometimes they make fun of me, just to pull my leg. But I have a comeback like try doing it yourself. Fortunately in recent times, because of the kind of choices that I`ve made, I think they`ve been far more mature, and come from a secure space.

It`s nice to discuss films because what I do is make films and the reason I make them is that we can have a conversation about it or the character. So rather than critiquing it is nice to discuss the film that gets the negatives and the positives but in a positive manner.”

In ‘Crakk’, Arjun essays the role of a ruthless antagonist, who goes head-to-head with Vidyut Jammwal. Going by the film’s trailer, Arjun seems to have pulled off the stunts and high-octane action sequences with ease, but the actor maintains that the outcome doesn’t happen overnight. He has undergone a tremendous physical transformation and rigorous training for his role in the upcoming action thriller film `Crakk-Jeetega to Jiyegaa`.

While talking about his preparation work, he shared, “For this role, I had to go way lighter and work on my agility. I swam every day in open waters to increase my cardiovascular strength. Ran 10K thrice a week and ate clean. I had to make sacrifices to get in shape and tip the scale in my favour. I ate a lot of protein and followed a strictly veg diet thrice a week.”

`Crakk` is a survival thriller. Aditya Datt, who helmed the film, is also known for films like Aashiq Banaya Apne (2005) and Table No. 21 (2013).
