WBJEE Counselling 2024: The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board (WBJEEB) will start the counseling process for the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination (WBJEE) today, July 10. Interested candidates will be able to register and fill in the options by visiting the official website- wbjeeb.nic.in. Let us tell you that the last date to apply for counseling has been fixed as July 16.
Through this counseling, candidates are admitted to undergraduate courses in engineering, technology, and architecture in various colleges, institutes, or universities of West Bengal. The counseling process includes registration, filling of options, seat allotment results, payment of acceptance fee, document verification, and reporting to the allotted college.
There will be three rounds of WBJEE counseling- allotment, upgradation, and mop-up. Candidates will be able to register for Round 1 and Mop-up rounds. Only those candidates will be eligible to apply for counseling who have passed WBJEE 2024. Candidates have to pay an application fee of Rs 500 to participate in the counseling process.
Candidates will be allotted colleges and courses based on the rank and availability of seats in WBJEE counseling. WBJEE 2024 seat matrix is available on the official website of the board, candidates can check about the seats by visiting the official website of WBJEE.
WBJEE Counselling 2024: Essential Guidelines
Candidates have to provide the required personal details, academic details, bank account details, address, etc.
Candidates have to provide their application number or roll number and the following academic information-
Class 10 passing status, total marks, and obtained marks in English
Class 12 passing status, overall full marks, and total marks obtained
Class 12 Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biology, Computer Science, Computer Applications, Electronics or Information Technology, Informatics Practices, Technical Vocational Subjects, Agriculture, Engineering Graphics, Business Studies, Entrepreneurship, Passing status, total marks and obtained marks in English. If any subject does not apply to a candidate, he/she can select “NA”.
