WhatsApp introduced a new feature, now no one will be able to track your location!

WhatsApp constantly integrates new features into its app to improve the user experience. This time WhatsApp has introduced a new and important feature in its app. Let us know in details.

WhatsApp introduced the “Disable Link Previews” feature in its beta version 2.24.8.11 for Android users. After successfully testing this feature, WhatsApp is releasing it for all users.

This feature aims to improve the privacy of users by allowing them to protect their IP address from third-party websites. In WhatsApp’s privacy settings, users will find an option called “Advanced Names”. By choosing this option, users will have two options. The first option is “(Protect IP address in Calls)”, which protects the IP address during calls. The second option is “(Disable Link Previews)” which, when enabled, prevents link previews from being generated in chats, thus preventing third-party websites from identifying users’ IP addresses.

To activate any of these features, users simply need to click on the toggle button next to the respective option. When activated, the toggle will turn green, indicating that the feature is active, while when deactivated it will appear grey.
