The report further adds that the gunman positioned himself 130 yards away from the stage at Butler Farm Show grounds, where the presidential campaign event was taking place.
Secret Service snipers subsequently neutralized the threat, discovering an AR-style rifle at the scene. The Secret Service later announced on social media that Trump had been safely transported to a nearby hospital. An FBI agent stated that the motive behind the incident, which authorities are calling an ‘assassination attempt,’ has not yet been identified.”
