Some individuals excel in multiple fields while also cracking the toughest examination in India. IAS Pallavi Sharma, a law graduate and trained classical singer, is a remarkable example. She achieved an impressive All-India Rank of 73 in the UPSC Civil Services Examination(CSE) without any formal coaching.
Pallavi Mishra hails from an upper-middle-class family in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh. She completed her early education in her hometown before relocating to Delhi, where she earned a law degree from National Law University. Beyond her academic success, Pallavi is also a trained classical singer, holding a Master’s degree in music, and was trained under the guidance of the late Pandit Siddharam Koravara.
Speaking of her personal life, IAS Pallavi Mishra comes from a reputed family. Her father, Ajay Mishra, is a senior advocate. Furthermore, her mother, Dr. Renu Mishra, is a senior scientist.
Her elder brother, Aditya Mishra, is the Deputy Commissioner of Indore and an IPS officer. Pallavi credits much of her success to her family, particularly her elder brother, for their significant support and guidance throughout her UPSC journey.
During her first attempt, Pallavi had to face a setback as she was unable to clear the UPSC examination. However, in 2022, with hard work and dedication, she, without the help of any formal coaching, cracked the UPSC exam in her second attempt. She secured an All India Rank(AIR) of 73.
