Stresses the importance of regular eye exams, noting that stability in spectacle prescription typically occurs by age 30. These exams, conducted by optometrists and ophthalmologists, are crucial for the early detection of conditions such as glaucoma, cataracts, and macular diseases.”

A diet rich in antioxidants and vitamins, along with protection from blue light emitted by digital screens and UV rays from sunlight, is essential for maintaining optimal eye health.

Regular exercise improves blood circulation, reducing the risk of eye diseases. Moreover, practising healthy screen habits and avoiding smoking are crucial steps in preventing conditions like dry eyes and conjunctival issues.
