Practical tips and habits for Gen Z to stay healthy and TB-free
A balanced diet: Ditching unhealthy habits like processed foods and smoking will do wonders for your immune system. A balanced diet rich in fruits, vegetables, and whole grains gives your immune system the ammunition it needs to fight off any potential TB infection. Don’t skimp on protein either, as it helps build and repair tissues throughout your body.
Stay Active: A lot of the working population have a very sedentary lifestyle which can cost your immunity and your health. Regular exercise keeps your body strong and your immune system functioning optimally. Find activities you enjoy, whether it’s hitting the gym, dancing it out, or joining a sports team. Aim for at least 30 minutes of moderate intensity exercise most days of the week.
