World’s first Om-shaped Temple to be Inaugurated Tomorrow, Find Out More About it

Lord Shiva is one of the most popular deities in Hinduism. There are lakhs of Shiva temples in India, and it will soon add another feather to its cap when the world’s first Om-shaped temple dedicated to Lord Shiva is inaugurated tomorrow, February 10, 2024. This comes right after the historic consecration of the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya on January 22, 2024.
This temple’s foundation was laid 27 years ago in 1995 and is located in the Jadan Village of Rajasthan’s Pali district.
In Hinduism, the Om mantra is considered Mahamantra and is chanted every morning after waking up.
The trinity Brahma, Vishnu, and Mahesh, who are said to be the creators of this universe, are considered to be the symbol of ‘Om’ (Om).
The Om-shaped or the ‘Om Aakar’ temple has been constructed across a sprawling 250 acres of land in Jadan Village.
Over 1000 idols of Lord Mahadev to be installed
This temple is said to house 1,008 idols of Lord Mahadev and 12 Jyotirlingas. In its upper part, a temple has a Shivling made of a rhinestone brought from the Bansi hill of Dholpur. A water tank with a capacity of 2 lakh tonnes has also been built under this temple complex.
