Xiaomi Unveils New Redmi Pad SE Tablet, Redmi Buds 5A, and More for Indian Market: Here’s What You Need to Know
Xiaomi has launched new products under the Redmi series, including a new affordable tablet and TWS earbuds. The company has also expanded its smart home ecosystem with robot vacuum cleaners and handheld garment steamers. Talking about the Redmi Pad SE, this affordable tablet focuses on students with its multimedia-heavy features with Dolby Atmos-powered speakers.
REDMI PAD SE and REDMI BUDS 5A Price in India
The Redmi Pad SE has been launched in India for the base 4GB + 128GB variant at Rs. 12,999 for the 6GB + 128GB and 8GB + 128GB storage options, respectively, at Rs. 13,999 and Rs. 14,999 goes up. Due to some bank offers you can get the tablet at a low price. Redmi Buds 5A Rs. 1,499 thanks to a special launch price that may increase later.
REDMI PAD SE and REDMI BUDS 5A Features
The Redmi Pad SE features an 11-inch display that gets a 90Hz refresh rate and supports FHD+ resolution. The tablet is powered by Snapdragon 680 chipset with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage which is further expandable. Xiaomi is not giving you a new HyperOS version with this tablet, which will be offered via an update at a later date. So, you have to contend with Android 13-based MIUI 14 version.
It has an 8MP camera on the back and a 5MP shooter on the front. It has Dolby Atmos-tuned stereo speakers and an 8,000mAh battery in a metallic body that supports only 10W charging speed. The Buds 5A come with active noise cancellation and can even isolate noise when you’re on a call. The buds get 12mm drivers that are likely to focus on deep bass, which is the case with most TWS earbuds in this segment. It gets Google Fast Pair support, Bluetooth 5.4 and IPx4 rating. Xiaomi says the Buds can last up to 30 hours with a 5A charging case.
