Yadgir-Bengaluru Vande Bharat Express Goes Live; Check Timing, Halts, Other Details
Vande Bharat: Great news for commuters planning a trip from Yadgir to Bengaluru as the IT hub is now connected to Yadgir via the Vande Bharat Express train. Minister of State for Railways V Somanna on Saturday flagged off the SMVT Bengaluru-Kalaburagi Vande Bharat Express with an additional halt at Yadgir.

The Bengaluru-Kalaburagi Vande Bharat Express (train number 22232), will halt at Yadgir at 5:55 AM towards Bengaluru and then move towards Kalaburagi at 9:44 PM, the Railways has informed, according to a report by the Deccan Herald.
The Vande Bharat Express will boost connectivity and stimulate economic development in Yadgir, which is regarded as one of the most underdeveloped districts in Karnataka.
59 railway stations upgraded in Karnataka
Speaking to reporters, MoS Somanna said the Centre has upgraded as many as 59 railway stations in Karnataka at a cost of Rs 2,900 crore, adding that the Yadgir station is being upgraded at a cost of Rs 7.5 crore and Kalaburagi for Rs 12.5 crore.
The introduction of Yadgir-Bengaluru Vande Bharat Express service comes amidst the backdrop of the launched Bengaluru-Ernakulam Vande Bharat Express, which triggered a discussion among Keralites residing in the Karnataka IT hub as some praised the newly launched services its speed, comfort and reduced travel time, even as critics pointed out that the train’s schedule and frequency may not suit potential passengers.
