Zomato CEO Deepinder Goyal Buys India’s First Aston Martin DB12 for His Car Collection
British supercar manufacturer Aston Martin launched a groundbreaking GT car, the DB12, in India in September 2023. Months after its launch, the supercar, priced at Rs. 4.59 crore (ex-showroom), owned by none other than Zomato CEO, Dipendra Goyal. He became the first proud owner of a spectacular beast on wheels in the country.
The pictures of Deepander Goyal’s brand new Aston Martin DB12 supercar were shared on Instagram by the handle ‘Automobile Ardent India’. The post was captioned, “The very first Aston Martin DB12 in the country! Delivered by Aston Martin New Delhi, this stunner is painted in satin Aston Martin Racing Green. How wonderful is this under the sun. According to the above post, the Zomato CEO chose Satin Aston Martin Racing Green, which gives the automobile a very attractive and classy look. This subtle green color also features massive 21-inch alloy wheels with a diamond-cut finish.
According to CarToq, the Aston Martin DB12 is equipped with a Mercedes-Benz-sourced engine. It has a powerful 4.0-litre twin-turbocharged V8 engine that makes around 680 bhp and 800 Nm of torque. It is mated to an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission. The newly launched Aston Martin DB12 is the successor to the already popular Aston Martin DB11 GT supercar. According to the company, the new DB12 is 80 percent all-new, with a sharper-looking exterior and its new wider front grille.

The main highlight of the new DB12 is its interior, which is completely different from the DB11. It gets an all-new modern and sophisticated layout with dual-tone leather interior. The beast on wheels also has a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system as its main feature. Additionally, the vehicle features a redesigned center console with many physical buttons. To set it apart, the car also includes a digital instrument gauge cluster.
The new DB12 also features a set of redesigned headlamps with a three-piece DRL setup. Apart from this, the front bumper has been modified to give the vehicle a more aggressive look. However, the DB12’s overall design and silhouette resemble the Aston Martin DB11. Talking about its performance, the DB12 can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.5 seconds. According to the manufacturer, it also has adaptive dampers and an electronic rear differential. With the new DB12, the company’s main focus is on comfort and cruising on highways and valleys.
